Privacy policy

Effective October 23, 2026.

We do not sell personal information. This page says what the site can collect, who processes it, how long we keep it, and how to ask for a copy or a deletion.

What we collect

• Account. If you create one, Clerk processes your email, name, and sign-in session. We do not store your password.
• Billing. Card numbers stay with Stripe. If you subscribe, we keep the Stripe customer id, the plan, and whether it is active.
• Pro tools. Watchlists and email alerts are coming soon. They do not collect or store any data yet. When they launch, this policy will be updated first.
• Analytics. If you allow it, Google Analytics sets a cookie and receives page views, device type, and approximate location. Analytics stays off unless a measurement id is configured and you choose Allow.
• Server logs. Vercel may log your IP address, browser, and the page you requested.
• Contact form. If you use the contact form or email support@bankvaluehunter.com, we receive your name, email address, and message so we can reply.
• Calculator. A stock price you type into the price-to-tangible-book calculator is not stored. It stays in your browser until you leave the page.

Processors

Clerk for accounts, Stripe for card payments, Neon for the database, Resend for email once it is turned on, Google for analytics if you allow it, and Vercel for hosting.

Cookies

Clerk sets cookies needed to keep you signed in. Stripe sets cookies on its checkout and customer portal pages to process payments and prevent fraud. These are needed for sign-in and billing and are not used for advertising. Google Analytics cookies are set only if you choose Allow in the cookie notice.

Do Not Track

Browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. There is no common standard for it, and this site does not change its behavior when it receives one. You can still refuse analytics in the cookie notice.

How long we keep it

Account and billing records are kept while the account is open and as long as tax or accounting rules require after that. Watchlists and alerts are deleted when you delete them or when the account is deleted. Contact messages are kept long enough to reply and then removed. Server logs follow the host's usual retention.

Your choices

To ask for a copy of your information or to ask us to delete it, email support@bankvaluehunter.com. Deleting a Clerk account removes the sign-in. Cancel Pro anytime from your Account page. We will not charge you for a request.

You can refuse analytics in the cookie notice. If you already allowed it, clear site data for this website in your browser and choose No thanks the next time.

Children

This site is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Bank data

Bank figures on the public pages come from the FDIC, FFIEC, and SEC. They are not personal information about you. See the disclaimer for how to read them.
